Cycling

Hundreds of miles of quiet and scenic country roads make for great cross-country cycling tours, while mountain biking down the lift-accessed ski trails of Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain appeals to thrill seekers in search of speed and an eagle's-eye view of Greene County's high peaks. Many of the old carriage roads to the nineteenth-century grand hotels are still intact in the forest preserve and offer cyclists yet another kind of mountain biking adventure.
