Just two hours north of New York City and 30 minutes south of Albany, Catskill serves as the gateway to Greene County at Exit 21 off the New York State Thruway (1-87).

From Albany and Points North: Take the New York State Thruway (1-87) south to Exit 21 in Catskill. Stop at the Tourist Information Center just off the exit for detailed maps and more information.

From New York City and Points South: Take the New York State Thruway (1-87) north to Exit 21 in Catskill. Stop at the Tourist Information Center just off the exit for detailed maps and more information.

From Boston and Points East: Take the Massachussetts Turnpike (1-90) west to Exit 83. Take Route 22 south to the intersection of Route 23 in Hillsdale. Take Route 23 west through Hudson and across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge to Catskill. Stop at the Tourist Information Center at Exit 21 of the New York State Thruway for detailed maps and more information.

From Syracuse and Points West: Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) east to Albany, where it changes to I-87. Take I-87 south to Exit 21 in Catskill. Stop at the Tourist Information Center just off the exit for detailed maps and more information.
